T o wake up the system, simply press the P ower key again. Hibernate mode pow ers down the system and the system quickly resumes its former stat e of operation within seconds after turning it back on. Shutting down y our EeeK eyboar d PC T o shut down y our EeeKe yboard PC: 1. F r o m t h e E a s y M o d e s c r e e n , t a p t h e Fu n i c o n , t h e n t a p Windo ws Desktop to enter the Windows® en vironment. 2. Pr ess the Start key on your EeeKeyboard PC to display the Star t menu. 3. S e l e c t Tu r n o f f t h e C o m p u t e r > Tu r n o f f t o s h u t d o w n y o u r EeeKeyboard PC. ASUS EeeKeyboard PC 1-9 Setting up your Ultr a-wideband connection With the Ultra-wideband receiv er , the EeeKeyboard PC allo ws you to wirelessly connect to external video devices within a ï¬ve-met er range for 720p high-deï¬nition video transmission and t en-meter range for non-video transmission. T o set up your Ultr a-wideband connection: 1. C o n n e c t a l l t h e n e c e s s a r y d e v i c e s f o r y o u r U l t r a - w i d e b a n d connection. NO TE : The Ultra-wideband receiv er should be positioned within a clear line of sight to the wireless an tenna. Its front (with the Eee logo) must face tow ards the wireless antenna. Do any of the following to connect two ex ternal display s to your EeeKeyboard PC: ⢠C o n n e c t o n e m o n i t o r w i r e l e s s l y a n d c o n n e c t t h e o t h e r monitor using a VGA or HDMI cable. ⢠Connect two external displays using VGA and HDMI cables. 2. T urn on your EeeKeyboard PC and the external displays . IMPORT ANT ! When you connect two external displays to y our EeeKeyboard PC either via wired or wir eless connec tion, only one external monitor has a display output. Icons on this page only appear when an external display is connected to your E eeKeyboard PC. 2 W eb T ap this icon to quickly access popular online messaging , social networking, and e-mail ser vices websites . NO TES : ⢠W eb browser from the Easy Mode screen allows you to sur f and download ï¬les into default f olders in My Documents. ⢠If you are using a download application, ensure that you set the download destination to the default f olders in My Documents. This allows y ou to automatically view the ï¬les from Easy Mode applications. ⢠The prei nstal led S k ype ve rsion in y our EeeK eyboa rd P C is 4.0.0 .206 . If you install a newer Skype version, you will not be able to use Skype from the Easy Mode screen. Hibernate mode pow ers down the system and the system quickly resumes its former stat e of operation within seconds after turning it back on. ASUS EeeKeyboard PC 1-9 Setting up your Ultr a-wideband connection With the Ultra-wideband receiv er , the EeeKeyboard PC allo ws you to wirelessly connect to external video devices within a ï¬ve-met er range for 720p high-deï¬nition video transmission and t en-meter range for non-video transmission. T o set up your Ultr a-wideband connection: 1. C o n n e c t a l l t h e n e c e s s a r y d e v i c e s f o r y o u r U l t r a - w i d e b a n d connection. NO TE : The Ultra-wideband receiv er should be positioned within a clear line of sight to the wireless an tenna. Its front (with the Eee logo) must face tow ards the wireless antenna.
