Pre cautio ns Please rea d the following caref ully before use:  Do not expose the piano to high tem p erature, direct sunli g ht or excessive dust.  Do not place the piano too close to app liance s such as televisions and radios as these items may cause interference.  A void excessive hum id ity and putt ing any liquids on t op of the piano  Alway s unplug AC cord by gri pping the plug firmly , but not pulling on the ca ble.  Do not apply excessi ve force to the swi tc hes and buttons.  When the pian o is not in use or du ring a thunderst orm, please disconnect the po wer supply .  Maintain the volume at a comfortable level - w e recommend you limit this to two-thirds o f the maximum to prevent damage to y o ur ears  Unplug the power ca ble before cleaning the piano. Do n ot co nnect or disconnect the power cable wit h wet hands.  Check and clean the p ower plug p eriodically .  T o avoid d amage to the p iano a nd other devices to which it is con necte d, turn the p ower switches of all related devices of f prior to connecting o r disconnectin g cables.  Clean the piano and remove the dust w ith a d ry soft cl oth or a slightly damp cloth.  Never u se cleaners such as thinner or a lcohol. T o p revent any da ma ge o n the surface of the LE D display , please use lens clea ning ti ssue to clean the dis play .  If the piano cable is d amaged, please d o not use the piano as it presents a fi r e or elect rical hazard.  If the p iano mal functions due to improper handling, please sw itch o ff, wait 30 se conds, and swit ch o n again.  Do n o t att empt t o d isassemble or r epair t he piano by y ourself. If the p iano does n ot w o rk prope r ly , please contact an a uthorized service tech nician.  The piano should not be expose d to water , rain, liquids, etc.. Do not place any object filled wit h liquids on the piano.

Digital Piano Set-up Guide 1. Open the packa ge, and check that you have the fol lowing parts: 1. Piano body 2. Music stan d 3. Right leg 4. Left leg 5. Back panel 6. Foot pe dal unit 7. Hand screw (4 pcs.) 8. Screws ( 8 pcs.) 9. Screw ca p s (8 pcs.) 10. Power ca b le stabling hook (2 pcs.)
Digital Piano Set-up Guide 2. . Follow t he illustration below t o setup your piano. A. Put the foot p edal unit(6) in between the left a nd right legs (3&4) . Use 4 sc rews (2 on e ac h side) t o attach the l egs onto the foot pedal unit. (Make sure the p osition correc t before tightening sc rews) B. Use 4 screw s (2 on each side) t o tighten the back panel (5) onto the finished assem bly in Part A.
Digital Piano Set-up Guide C. Put the pian o bod y (1) on the top of th e finished stand fr om part B. Use 4 hand screws t o fasten the piano to th e stand. D. The Connectors Using the A C power jack 1. Connect the power cable t o the AC po wer jack on the un derside of the piano. 2. Ensure the p iano is turned off when connecting and disc o nnecting the power 3. Plug the power cable into an AC power outlet. 4. T urn the volume switch counter-cl o ckwise to reach the mi nimum volume level. 5. If you have do ne the above procedures, it’ s now safe t o turn on the piano. Caution: When the pi ano is not in use or duri ng a thunderstorm, di sc onnect the power f or safety sake. Using Headphones 1. There are two headphone jacks un derneath the left hand side of the piano. When an optional set of stereo headphones is connected t o headphone j ack 2, the sou nd from the sp eakers is disconnecte d – s o t h e sound is only hea r d in the headph ones. 2. When jack 1 is connected wi th stereo headphones, the sound can be heard from both headphones an d the piano s peakers He ad ph o n e s Ja ck 1 H e ad ph on e s J a c k 2 Caution: Never use t he headphone with high v olume, as it m ay damage your sense of h earing. T o pre vent damage to the speakers, e nsur e that t he volume is set to the minimum level b efor e conne cting the power and other devices. Using the A UX.OUT ja ck
Connect the rear- p anel AUX.OUT jack to amplifi ed speakers, amplifiers o r do mestic hi-fi-uni ts for external amplifi cation. Note: Connect bo th left(L) and right (R) ch a nnels for st ereo ef fect. I f yo u only connect eithe r one of the channels, the connected chan nel will only take eff ect. Using the Foot Pe dals Connect the plug o f the foot pedal unit to the pedal jack on the rear p anel. Using the MIDI IN/OUT Jack MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. MIDI is a w orld wide standard that makes it possi ble for various electr onic m usical instrument s and other device s. MIDI IN: D ata t ransmitted from o ther MIDI instrume nt via MIDI is r eceived at this termi nal. MIDI OUT : Data pr oduced by the Digital Piano is transmitted to other MIDI instrum en ts via MIDI fr o m this termi na l. Operatio n
1. Power Switch & V o lume 1. T urn the POWER switch on. The LED display l ights up. 2. Use the volume control switch to adjust the volume t o your desired level Caution: If the LED display has not lit up after you turned on t he piano, please c heck the power supply . If the piano is silent, the volu me may be adjusted t o its minimum level. Although the Main sw itc h may be i n the OFF position, the piano is not d isconn ected fr om the power supply completel y! 2. V oice/Dual V o ice  Select a voice by pressing one of the [VOICE TYPE] b utton, the corresponding indicator will light up and the num ber of the selected voice will appear on the LED.  Press th e [DUAL] b utton to enter the Du al V oice mode, then select the second v oice by pressing a [VOI CE TYPE ] button.  T o ex it the D ua l V oice mode, pr ess the [DUAL] butt on again.  While recording, V oice 2 w ill turn o ff automatically . 3. Metr ono m e  Press the [METRONOME] bu tton to tu rn on/off the m etro nome functi o n.  Y ou cannot use the me tronome functi on when the DEMO song is playing.  T o turn of f the metr onome, press the [STO P] button. 4. DSP (Di gital Signal Pr o cessor)
 Press the [DSP] butt o n to turn on/off the DSP . The status wi ll appear on the L ED. 5. T ranspose  The Transpose f unction a ll ows you to change the p itch of the instrument in semi-tone steps, up t o a maximum setting of 12 se mi tones above or bel ow standard pitch.  T o res tore the no rmal T ranspose position, press both the /- buttons simult a neously . 6. T empo  Y ou can speed up or slow down the tempo of a song or metr onome by pressing the [TEMPO /-] buttons.  T o restore the d efault tempo, press both the /- buttons simultaneously . When you press both the /- buttons when the song/metronom e is stopping, the tempo will return to 120.  When you are adjusting the tempo, the tempo indicator wil l appear on the display . 7. T ouch Response
 There is a touch response f unction t o set the default value fo r the keyboard touch.  Press the [TOUCH ] bu tton to adjust the touch response level in the range o f 1 to 3. 2 is the default level.  T o turn off the touch r espon se function, press the [TOUCH] button repeatedly until "OFF" appearing on the dis play . 8. Record & Pl a yback Record  Press th e [RECORD] button to record. The record indicat or lights up.  There are 2 tracks for re cord ing - track A and track B. Sele ct an d press [TRAC K A] or [TRACK B] butt o n to save your rec ording.  T o remove the recorded data and record again, press the [RECORD] and [TRACK A] or [TRACK B] sim u ltaneously . Their indicators light up and flash.  Play a key on the key board to start recording.  T o stop recor ding, press the [ STOP] button. Playback  Select a nd press the track you want to playback. Its indicat or will light.  T o stop the playback, press the [RECO RD - STOP] b utton.  Press the [RECORD-PLA Y] button to start playing back the tra ck.
Repeat the playback During the playback, press the [REPEA T ] b utton to set the beginnin g point that y o u w a nt to listen, "r-A " w ill appear on the display , then press the [REPEA T] b utton again to set the end point o f the playback, "r- B" will appear on the display and the recorded song w ill p layback repea tedly . 9. Demo Son g Select a Dem o song  Hold the [SELEC T] button.  The number o f the current demo song will appear on the display .  Use the V oice Select b uttons (0-9) to select your desired demo song. Y ou must enter a 2-digit number (00- 19). Play the dem o songs in sequence  Press the [DEMO ALL ] button to sta rt playing the demo s ongs in s e quence. T o stop the demo songs, press the [DEMO ALL] or [ST AR T/STOP] button.  When the d em o s o ng is p lay ing, you can not change it to anothe r one immediately . Select a track of the dem o song  While the demo song is p laying, yo u can deactivate the correspon ding track by pressing the [ TRACK A] or [TRAC K B] button.  No so und wil l p lay if bo th tracks are deactivated.  Press the track button again to play the demo song. Repeat the demo song  When a dem o song i s playing , press the [REPEA T] button to set the b eginning po int that you want to listen. "r- A" wi ll app ear on the display , then press the [REPEA T] button again to set the end point of the playback."r- B " will ap pear on the display and the select ed secti on of the demo song will playback repeatedl y .  This function does n ot work after pressing th e [DEMO ALL] button and its songs are playing. Adjust the tem po of demo s ong  When a demo song is p laying, yo u can adjust its tempo by pressing the [TEMPO /-] buttons. 10. MIDI The MIDI c onnections are locat ed at the rear panel of the unit. The follow i ng shows the des cription of MIDI and the st ep s of using M IDI. What is MIDI ? MIDI stands f or Musical Instrume nt Digital Interface. MIDI is a w orld wide standard that m akes it possible for various electronic musical instruments and other devices, such as computers, to "comm unicate with each othe r". The key board is equipped with two types of MIDI connections, bot h are located on the rea r panel. MIDI IN Data transm itted from other M IDI instrum ents via MIDI, is receive d at this term inal. MIDI OUT Data produces by the keyboard, is t r ansmitted to other MIDI instrument s via MI DI from this termi nal. MIDI IN/OUT T ermina ls What can you do with MID I? Record data by using the Aut o Accompaniment on an ex ternal sequencer . After recor ding, you can edit the data wi th the sequencer .
