1. Starting PhonePilot Select PhonePilot in âÂÂMenuâ to start it. If you configure PhonePilot to auto run, PhonePilot will start aut omatically when your phone is turned on every time. After PhonePilot starts up, there is an indicator on top right corner (beside battery pane) to indicate PhonePilot is ru nning in standby mode and phoneâ s âÂÂMenuâ screen. Tip ! Y ou will find some examples profiles, voi ce respo nses a nd lists in corresponding vi ews after you installing PhonePilot suc cessfully . These pre-installed examples are for demonstration and tutorial onl y . Y ou can feel free to edit or delete them. Page 2

Main View When PhonePilot is running, there are se ven sub vi ews in main vie w , including: profiles, voic e responses, managing lists, SMS templates, message box, scheduler and dialog mon itor views. When a sub view get focused (highlighted), pressing key âÂÂS electâ or selecting âÂÂOpenâ from menu will open the selected sub view . 2-1 Menu of main view îº Open: Open the highlighted view . îº View call logs: View missed, received, dialled call logs. îº Setting: Configure global parameters, including: aut o run at power on, local recording timeout, miscellaneous parameters of voice responses, et c⦠See section 2-2 âÂÂGlobal parameters settingâ for more information. îº Hide: Send PhonePilot to background and keep running. îº About: Display information about PhonePilotâÂÂs versi on, software vender , ho w to purchase, contact us, etcâ¦ îº Exit: S top PhonePilot and exit now . 2-2 Global parameters settings Adjustable global parameters include: îº A uto run: Whether PhonePilot run autom atically at pow er-on. îº Show indicator: Whether show an indicator to indicate PhonePilot is running no w in standby mode and phoneâÂÂs âÂÂMenuâ screen. îº Run as system app. : If you configure P honePi lot to run as system application, it wonâÂÂt be closed by s ystem framework when phone memory is runni ng low or data backup is processing. îº W atch video calls: PhonePilot will handle video and data calls if you enable this. îº W atch Fax calls: PhonePilot will hand le Fax calls if you enable this. îº Local record timeout: The maximum interval of recordin g a local sound clip. Local soun d clip including âÂÂGreetingsâ and âÂÂS orry promptsâ of voice responseâÂÂs actions (See section 4-3 for more information about âÂÂactionâÂÂ). îº V erbose dialog log: If you enable this s, PhonePilot will re cord all detail events to âÂÂDialog Monitorâ view . Otherwise, PhonePilot will only record basic events to âÂÂDialog Monitorâ view . îº Prompt for billable event s: Whether let PhonePil ot prompt y ou a confirmation dial og before an operation that will caus e a charge to phone bill. îº V o ice settings: Select this option will open voice responseâÂÂs advanced setting. T hese parameters affect the w ay that voice response respond to incoming callers. Details described bellows: îº Auto answer delay: The interval from ringing of incoming call n otification to the time of voice response picking up an incoming call. îº Mute ringer before answer: Whether mute the ringing tone before voic e response picking up an incoming call. îº Answering machine timeou t: The maximum duration of a voice mess age that incoming caller s can leave. PhonePilot will play âÂÂsorry promptâ t hen hang up incoming calls automatic ally once timed out. Page 4
3. Profiles view In profiles view , you can add, modify , delete and activate saved profil es. A profile is us ed for storing various pre-defined responses correspon ding to differ ent groups to meet your di fferent demands in many situations. Y ou can imagine i t as the tools âÂÂProfileâ on NokiaâÂÂs smartphone, that is used for definin g ringing and messaging to nes. But profiles view in PhonePilot is used for defini ng various responses for callers. PhonePilot is shipped with a build-in, not e rasab le and not editable pro file âÂÂAccept allâÂÂ, and s even pre-defined, erasable and editabl e profiles. Y ou can browse them in current view . 3-1 Profile list v iew, menu and context menu - Act i vat e: Set the focused profile as default p rofile and activate it. Current active profile will appear on the top of ever y views with texts like âÂÂActive: ***âÂÂ, illust rated with area (a) on Pic. 3-1. Current default profile will be marked as icon, illustrated with area (b) on Pic. 3-1. The current active profile and defaul t profile may be different, please see sec tion 8-1 for more information. - View & edit: View and edit the focused profile. - Create new : Create a new profile. - Delete: Delete the focused profile. A build-in profiles canâÂÂt be deleted. - Rename: Rename the focused profile. A build-in profiles c anâÂÂt be renamed. Pic. 3-1 - A pplication: See section 2-1. Tip ! Y ou c an press your p honeâÂÂs âÂÂSelectâ key to show up a conte xt menu when a profile is focused. The context menu consists of menu it ems âÂÂActivateâ and âÂÂV iew & editâÂÂ. 3-2 Create new, view & edit profile P i c 3 - 2 P i c 3 - 3 Y ou will enter edit mode when create, view & edit a profil e. Edit mode is illustrat ed with Pic. 3-2 and 3-3. Y ou can divide incomin g callers up to seven groups by phonebook or custom lists (Or choose not to divide to groups at all), then assign different respon ses to dif ferent groups. The combination of a group and its corresponding response is called a âÂÂruleâÂÂ. For example, the area (a) on Pic. 3-2 is a rule. Menu items in edit mode include: Page 5
- Edit rule: Edit the focused rule. Y ou can edit a rule by pressing phoneâÂÂs âÂÂSelectâ key . - Add additional rules: W hen adding a new profile, you can only divide c allers up to three groups including, callers on phone bo ok/list, callers not in above lists and private numbers. Y ou can add four empty additional rules for editing by choosing this menu item. - Delete additional rules: Y ou can delet e all empt y additional rules by choos ing this menu item when all additional rules are empty . - Hide additional rules : Hide all additional rules. Y ou will see a plus sign on the ball icon at the first line rule when there are hidden additional rules. - Show additional rules: Show all additional rules. - New rule: Y ou can create a new rule when the focused rule is an empty additional rule. - Delete rule: Y ou can delete a rule when the focused rule is an existing additional rule. 3-3 Create, view & edit a rule When you are creating or viewing & editing a rule, possible edit items include: 3-3-1 Callers in îº All callers: This option means all incom ing callers. If you choose this option, all i ncoming callers are considered as one group. îº Phonebook: This option means incoming callers are listed in phonebook. îº List: This option means incoming callers are liste d in a selected list. When this option is selected, PhonePilot will let y ou choose or create a new list. 3-3-2 Response When incoming callers match t he condition of section 3-1, available responses include: îº Accept (donâÂÂt handle): PhonePilot ignores these incoming calls. ItâÂÂs up to y ou to accept or reject them. îº V oice response: Answered by voice response. See sectio n 4 for more information. îº Send busy tone: Send busy tone to reject these callers right now . îº Divert calls to: Divert callers to a pre-defined phone number. When you choose this option, PhonePil ot will let you input a phone number manu ally or select one from phonebook. Then send call diver sion request to your carr ier . N otice! This function is based on âÂÂCall divert if busyâ service provide by your carrier , PhonePilot will se nd busy tone to ca llers and the incoming calls will be d iverted to the pre-define d phone number . So you may be charge d with voice communication or mont hly charge of call diversion. Please contact you carrier for more information. îº Record conversation : If you choose this option, PhonePilot wi ll automatically rec ord conversations of these calls after you picking up calls manually . No tice! Both parties will hear a beep every five seconds when call record is processing. These b eep s are generated by you phone and canâÂÂt be muted, it is used to remind both p arties that call record is on going. îº Busy Send SMS: First send busy tone to reject these callers right now , then send custom SMS Page 6
texts to them. A SMS editing screen will show up when you choose this op tion. Y o u can input SMS texts manually or import SMS texts from existi ng SMS templates. See section 6-2 for more information. îº Mute the ringer: Mute the ringer right now . Then itâÂÂs up to you to accept or reject them. 3-3-3 Response of callers not in ab o ve list s This edit item defines the respons e to incoming callers who are not in all five rul es above. Available responses to these callers are the same as those in section 3-3-2. 3-3-4 Response of private numbers When incoming callers d isable sending their caller id entification, you wonâÂÂt be able to get their phone number . This edit item defines the response to this kind of callers. Available responses to these callers are the same as those in section 3-3-2 (The exception is th ere is no option âÂÂBusy Send SMSâ because PhonePilot canâÂÂt retrieve the phone num ber of a private number caller) Page 7
4. Voice responses view Currently , the major function of voic e response is to be a ans wer machine. Details are described bellows. 4-1 V o ice responses list view an d menu This screen shows a list of voice r esponses. When a voice r esponse get focused (hig hlighted), available menu items include: îº New voice response: Create a new voice response. îº Edit voice response: Edit the focused voice response. îº Delete voice response: Delete the focused voice response. îº Rename voice response: Rename the focused voice response. îº Applica tion: See section 2-1. 4-2 Create or edit a voice response PhonePilot will change to voic e response edit mode when you are creating or editing a voic e response. The editing screen is sho w e d as the two screenshots on the bottom right corner of this page. Each panes of the screen are explained as fellow s: a. The name of voice response being edited now . b. The path of current editing screen. c. Left side icons indicates âÂÂcall inâÂÂ. d. Right side icons indicate th e corresponding ac tion of every key . Currently there are tw o possible actions: îº L eave a message: When incoming caller s select this kind of action, voice response will play a voice g reeting first, then begin to record their voice me ssage. Notice! When record ing voice message i s processing, th e caller will hear a b eep every five seconds. These bee ps are generated by you phone and canâÂÂt be muted. If caller feel co nfused by these beeps, you can inform them in advanced when greeting is playing. îº Key undefined: The current key isnâÂÂt asso ciated with any action yet. e. T exts on upper middle are the name of correspondi ng action. T exts on lower middle are the detail information of corresponding action. For examples, the d etail information of âÂÂLeave a messageâ s hows the maxim um duration of a me s sage. It facilitates you to look it over at a glance. The menu items in voice response editing mode include: îº New action: When an unde fined action getting focused ( highlighted), select this menu item will create a new action. See section 4-3 for detail explanation of creating a new one. îº Edit action: When a defined action getting focuse d (highlig hted), select th is menu item will edit an existing action. See section 4-3 for det ail explanation of editing an existing one. îº Delete action: When a defined action getting focused (hi ghl ighted), select this menu item will Page 8
delete the current action. 4-3 Create or edit an action When you are creating or editing an action, PhonePil ot will change to action editing mode. All possible edit items in this mode are described as fe llow s (Left * sign denotes a mandatory item): îº A ction type: See section 4-2-d for available actions. îº Greeting: The voice greeting before an action begins. Fo r example, you can record a greeting to instruct callers to leave their voice messages of a âÂÂLeave a messageâÂÂ-type action îº Sorry prompt: V oice response will prompt this sorry prom pt when an action is failed. For examples, you can record a sorry prompt to inform callers for timeout at a âÂÂLeave a messageâÂÂ-type action. Page 9
5. Black/White Lists view Here you can define custom lists used by profiles view to divide incoming callers. 5-1 Lists list v i ew an d menu This view shows all your custom lists. When a lis t get focused (highlig hted), available menu items include: îº New list: Create a new custom list. îº Edit list: Edit the focused list. îº Delete list: Delete the focused list. îº Rename list: Rename the focused list. îº A pplication: See section 2-1. 5-2 Create or edit a list Y ou can add, edit or delete contactâÂÂs names and phone numbers in a list. Available menu items include: îº New: Add a contactâÂÂs name and phone number to the list manually . îº From phonebook: Import single or multiple contact sâ names and phone numbers from phonebook. îº Edit: Edit the focused contactâ s name and phone number . îº Delete: Delete the focused contactâÂÂs name and phone number . 6. SMS Templates view Y ou c an create some texts as SMS templates here. Then you can imp ort texts from these pre-defined SMS templates when the selected response is âÂÂB usy Send SMSâ in profile rule edit mode. 6-1 SMS templates list and menu This view shows all your predefine d SMS templa tes. When a template get focused (highl ighted), available menu items include: îº New template: Create a new SMS template. îº Edit template: Edit the focused SMS template. îº Delete template: Delete the focused SMS template. îº Rename template: Rename the focused SMS template. îº A pplication: See section 2-1. 6-2 Create or edit a template PhonePilot will chan ge to this editing screen when you ar e creating or editing a template. It resembles the SMS editi ng screen of âÂÂMessagingâÂÂ, you can input, repl ace or delete texts here. Available menu items include: îº Import: Import text s from existing SMS templates and overwrite the current editing contents. îº Cancel: Discard all changes and return to the previous screen. 7. Message Box view This view shows all voice message s that incoming callers left and recorded conversations of both parties. Each pane are explained as fellows: a. Left side icon indicates whether the voice message is generated by voice responseâÂÂs âÂÂAnswer machineâ or âÂÂReco rd conversationâÂÂ, and whether it is heard. denotes itâÂÂs generated by ans wer machine and unheard, denotes itâÂÂs generated by answer machine an d heard. denotes itâÂÂs generated by record conv ersation and unhear d, den otes itâÂÂs generated by record conversation and heard. b. Right side texts, from top to bottom, left to right, described as fellow: caller âÂÂs phone number, callerâÂÂs name, the star ting time of this voice message, the duration of this voice message (unit is second). Available menu item of this view include: îº Play: Play back the focused voice message. îº Call back: Call back to the caller who left the focused voice message. îº Delete message: Delete the focused voice message. îº A pplication: See section 2-1. 8. Scheduler view Scheduler can activate assigned profiles. F or example, you can let scheduler activate a specific profile during a fixed perio d and periodicall y activate another pr ofi le everyday to meet y our different demands at different time. 8-1 Schedule list a nd menu P i c . 8 - 1 P i c . 8 - 2 Pic. 8-1 shows all schedulesâ list. On Pic. 8-1, ar ea (a) shows the pr ofile name ready to be activ ated. Area (b) shows the activation period. Activation period can be set as one time or per day activation. In area (c), icon means the current schedule is en abled, blank means disable d. And you can see t he scheduled time to activate next pr ofile in the main view , illustra ted with Pic. 8-2, area (a). Tip ! The priorit y of schedule with one time activati on is higher than that of schedule with per day activation. If there is no active schedule now , PhonePil ot will set the default profile as activ e profil e. If we consider effect of scheduler , it may cause the result of active profile being different from default profile. When a schedule is focused (highli ghted), available menu items include - Enable current: Enable focused sched ule. PhonePilot will judge which profile should be activated according to all enabled schedules. - Disable current: Disabl e focused schedul e. PhonePilot will judge which profile should b e activated according to all enabled schedules. - New sch edule: Create a new schedule. See section 8-2 for more information. - Edit schedule: Edit the focused schedule. See se ction 8-2 for more information. - Delete schedule: Delete the focused schedule. - A pplication: See section 2-1. Tip ! PhonePilo t will re-judge which profile should be activ ated after editing or deleting an enabled schedule. 8-2 Create or edit a schedule When create or edit a schedule, PhonePilot will enter schedule edit m ode. Edit items in this mode are described bellows: - Profile name: The profile name ready to be activated. - Schedule type: There are two t ypes of schedule, âÂÂone time â and âÂÂper da yâÂÂ. One time schedu le onl y activates profile once during the assign ed period. T he schedule will be marked as âÂÂExpir .â after expiration. âÂÂPer dayâ schedule w ill activate prof ile everyday during the assigned period of a day . Page 13
- St art date: The date sched uled to activate profile. This edit item is available only w hen schedule type is âÂÂone timeâÂÂ. - St art time: The time sche duled to activate profile. Unit is minute. - End date: The date scheduled to de- activate profile. This edit item is available only w hen schedule type is âÂÂone timeâÂÂ. - End time: The time scheduled to de-activate profile. Un it is minute. The activated profile will be d e-activated at next minut e after this time. Page 14
9. Dialog Monitor view Y ou can monitor all interactions bet ween PhonePilot and incoming callers here, including: call ersâ names, PhonePilotâÂÂs responses like sending busy tone, replying a SMS, diverting calls and recording call conversation. Y ou ca n choose menu item âÂÂPage upâ or press ke y 3 to scroll up one page, or choose menu item âÂÂPage downâ or press key 9 to scroll down one page. It facilitates you to look over the dialog quickly . Tip ! All vie ws will be locked when voice res ponse is still answerin g an incoming call. Y o u wonâÂÂt be able to select a menu item or edit data. But you can press left soft key (or âÂÂCallâ key) to intercept this call, or right soft key (or âÂÂHang upâ key) to hang up this call. Examples of applications îº Accept all incoming calls, accept callers from phonebook and reject all incoming calls In profiles view , activate one of pre-defined prof iles, âÂÂAccept allâÂÂ, âÂÂAccept phonebookâ or âÂÂReject allâÂÂ. îº Accept callers in white list, reject callers in blacklist In profile view , edit pre- define d profile âÂÂAcce pt whit e listâ or âÂÂReject b lack li stâÂÂ. Choose a white list or blacklist for edit item âÂÂCallers inâÂÂ. Exit edit mode and activate the profile. îº Y ou are on holiday , you want to divert callers in phonebook to h ome number and ignore all other callers (So that you can keep your home number in private) In profiles view , edit pre-defi ned profile âÂÂDiver t phoneb ook toâÂÂ, then input a phone number to âÂÂDiverted numberâÂÂ. Exit edit mode and activated the profile. îº Y o u want to reco rd conversations with callers in sp ecific list In profile view , edit pr e-defined profile âÂÂRecord call ers in list âÂÂ. Choose the list you want to record for edit item âÂÂCallers inâÂÂ. Exit edit mode and activate the profile. îº Y ou w ant to accept all calls at office, and dive rt callers in p honebook to home number , then reject all other at home Firstly , create a new schedule for office in schedul er view . Select pre-defi ned profile âÂÂAccept allâ for profile name, set schedule type to âÂÂper dayâÂÂ, a nd input the working time to âÂÂS tart timeâ and âÂÂEnd timeâÂÂ, then activate this profile. Secondly , crea te another new schedul e for home in scheduler view . Select pre-defined profile âÂÂDivert phonebo ok toâ for profile name, set schedule t ype to âÂÂper dayâÂÂ, and input the home time to âÂÂS tart timeâ and âÂÂEnd timeâÂÂ, then activate this profile also, îº Y ou are in a meeting now. Y ou w ant to inform your wife with a voice message of not eating dinner home today . Other callers send a SMS to inform them tha t you will call them af ter the meeting In profiles view , create a ne w profile first, select âÂÂL istâ for âÂÂCallers inâ and select the list co ntaining your wife only . Then select âÂÂVoice responseâ for âÂÂresponseâÂÂ. The settings of selected voice respons e should like this: a. T ype of the voice responseâÂÂs âÂÂca ll inâ action should be âÂÂLeave a messageâÂÂ. b. Record a voice message of not eating di nner home today for edit item âÂÂGreetingâÂÂ. 3. Profiles view In profiles view , you can add, modify , delete and activate saved profil es. A profile is us ed for storing various pre-defined responses correspon ding to differ ent groups to meet your di fferent demands in many situations. Y ou can imagine i t as the tools âÂÂProfileâ on NokiaâÂÂs smartphone, that is used for definin g ringing and messaging to nes. But profiles view in PhonePilot is used for defini ng various responses for callers. PhonePilot is shipped with a build-in, not e rasab le and not editable pro file âÂÂAccept allâÂÂ, and s even pre-defined, erasable and editabl e profiles. Y ou can browse them in current view . 3-1 Profile list v iew, menu and context menu - Act i vat e: Set the focused profile as default p rofile and activate it. Current active profile will appear on the top of ever y views with texts like âÂÂActive: ***âÂÂ, illust rated with area (a) on Pic. 3-1. Current default profile will be marked as icon, illustrated with area (b) on Pic. 3-1. The current active profile and defaul t profile may be different, please see sec tion 8-1 for more information. - View & edit: View and edit the focused profile. - Create new : Create a new profile. - Delete: Delete the focused profile. Edit mode is illustrat ed with Pic. 3-2 and 3-3. Y ou can divide incomin g callers up to seven groups by phonebook or custom lists (Or choose not to divide to groups at all), then assign different respon ses to dif ferent groups. The combination of a group and its corresponding response is called a âÂÂruleâÂÂ. For example, the area (a) on Pic. 3-2 is a rule. Menu items in edit mode include: Page 5
- Edit rule: Edit the focused rule. Y ou can edit a rule by pressing phoneâÂÂs âÂÂSelectâ key . - Add additional rules: W hen adding a new profile, you can only divide c allers up to three groups including, callers on phone bo ok/list, callers not in above lists and private numbers. Y ou can add four empty additional rules for editing by choosing this menu item. - Delete additional rules: Y ou can delet e all empt y additional rules by choos ing this menu item when all additional rules are empty . - Hide additional rules : Hide all additional rules. Y ou will see a plus sign on the ball icon at the first line rule when there are hidden additional rules. - Show additional rules: Show all additional rules. - New rule: Y ou can create a new rule when the focused rule is an empty additional rule. - Delete rule: Y ou can delete a rule when the focused rule is an existing additional rule. 3-3 Create, view & edit a rule When you are creating or viewing & editing a rule, possible edit items include: 3-3-1 Callers in îº All callers: This option means all incom ing callers. If you choose this option, all i ncoming callers are considered as one group. îº Phonebook: This option means incoming callers are listed in phonebook. îº List: This option means incoming callers are liste d in a selected list. When this option is selected, PhonePilot will let y ou choose or create a new list. 3-3-2 Response When incoming callers match t he condition of section 3-1, available responses include: îº Accept (donâÂÂt handle): PhonePilot ignores these incoming calls. ItâÂÂs up to y ou to accept or reject them. îº V oice response: Answered by voice response. See sectio n 4 for more information. îº Send busy tone: Send busy tone to reject these callers right now . îº Divert calls to: Divert callers to a pre-defined phone number. When you choose this option, PhonePil ot will let you input a phone number manu ally or select one from phonebook. Then send call diver sion request to your carr ier . N otice! This function is based on âÂÂCall divert if busyâ service provide by your carrier , PhonePilot will se nd busy tone to ca llers and the incoming calls will be d iverted to the pre-define d phone number . So you may be charge d with voice communication or mont hly charge of call diversion. Please contact you carrier for more information. îº Record conversation : If you choose this option, PhonePilot wi ll automatically rec ord conversations of these calls after you picking up calls manually . No tice! Both parties will hear a beep every five seconds when call record is processing. These b eep s are generated by you phone and canâÂÂt be muted, it is used to remind both p arties that call record is on going. îº Busy Send SMS: First send busy tone to reject these callers right now , then send custom SMS Page 6
texts to them. A SMS editing screen will show up when you choose this op tion. Y o u can input SMS texts manually or import SMS texts from existi ng SMS templates. See section 6-2 for more information. îº Mute the ringer: Mute the ringer right now . Then itâÂÂs up to you to accept or reject them. 3-3-3 Response of callers not in ab o ve list s This edit item defines the respons e to incoming callers who are not in all five rul es above. Available responses to these callers are the same as those in section 3-3-2. 3-3-4 Response of private numbers When incoming callers d isable sending their caller id entification, you wonâÂÂt be able to get their phone number . This edit item defines the response to this kind of callers. Available responses to these callers are the same as those in section 3-3-2 (The exception is th ere is no option âÂÂBusy Send SMSâ because PhonePilot canâÂÂt retrieve the phone num ber of a private number caller) Page 7
4. Voice responses view Currently , the major function of voic e response is to be a ans wer machine. The path of current editing screen. c. Left side icons indicates âÂÂcall inâÂÂ. d. Right side icons indicate th e corresponding ac tion of every key . Currently there are tw o possible actions: îº L eave a message: When incoming caller s select this kind of action, voice response will play a voice g reeting first, then begin to record their voice me ssage. Notice! When record ing voice message i s processing, th e caller will hear a b eep every five seconds. These bee ps are generated by you phone and canâÂÂt be muted. If caller feel co nfused by these beeps, you can inform them in advanced when greeting is playing. îº Key undefined: The current key isnâÂÂt asso ciated with any action yet. e. T exts on upper middle are the name of correspondi ng action. T exts on lower middle are the detail information of corresponding action. For examples, the d etail information of âÂÂLeave a messageâ s hows the maxim um duration of a me s sage. It facilitates you to look it over at a glance. The menu items in voice response editing mode include: îº New action: When an unde fined action getting focused ( highlighted), select this menu item will create a new action. Left side icon indicates whether the voice message is generated by voice responseâÂÂs âÂÂAnswer machineâ or âÂÂReco rd conversationâÂÂ, and whether it is heard. denotes itâÂÂs generated by ans wer machine and unheard, denotes itâÂÂs generated by answer machine an d heard. denotes itâÂÂs generated by record conv ersation and unhear d, den otes itâÂÂs generated by record conversation and heard. b. Right side texts, from top to bottom, left to right, described as fellow: caller âÂÂs phone number, callerâÂÂs name, the star ting time of this voice message, the duration of this voice message (unit is second). Available menu item of this view include: îº Play: Play back the focused voice message. îº Call back: Call back to the caller who left the focused voice message. îº Delete message: Delete the focused voice message. îº A pplication: See section 2-1. 8. Scheduler view Scheduler can activate assigned profiles. F or example, you can let scheduler activate a specific profile during a fixed perio d and periodicall y activate another pr ofi le everyday to meet y our different demands at different time. 8-1 Schedule list a nd menu P i c . 8 - 1 P i c . 8 - 2 Pic. 8-1 shows all schedulesâ list. On Pic. 8-1, ar ea (a) shows the pr ofile name ready to be activ ated. Area (b) shows the activation period. Activation period can be set as one time or per day activation. In area (c), icon means the current schedule is en abled, blank means disable d. And you can see t he scheduled time to activate next pr ofile in the main view , illustra ted with Pic. 8-2, area (a). Tip ! The priorit y of schedule with one time activati on is higher than that of schedule with per day activation. If there is no active schedule now , PhonePil ot will set the default profile as activ e profil e. If we consider effect of scheduler , it may cause the result of active profile being different from default profile. When a schedule is focused (highli ghted), available menu items include - Enable current: Enable focused sched ule. PhonePilot will judge which profile should be activated according to all enabled schedules. - Disable current: Disabl e focused schedul e. PhonePilot will judge which profile should b e activated according to all enabled schedules. - New sch edule: Create a new schedule. See section 8-2 for more information. - Edit schedule: Edit the focused schedule. See se ction 8-2 for more information. - Delete schedule: Delete the focused schedule. - A pplication: See section 2-1. Tip ! PhonePilo t will re-judge which profile should be activ ated after editing or deleting an enabled schedule. 8-2 Create or edit a schedule When create or edit a schedule, PhonePilot will enter schedule edit m ode. Edit items in this mode are described bellows: - Profile name: The profile name ready to be activated. - Schedule type: There are two t ypes of schedule, âÂÂone time â and âÂÂper da yâÂÂ. One time schedu le onl y activates profile once during the assign ed period. T he schedule will be marked as âÂÂExpir .â after expiration. âÂÂPer dayâ schedule w ill activate prof ile everyday during the assigned period of a day . Page 13

Dialog Monitor view Y ou can monitor all interactions bet ween PhonePilot and incoming callers here, including: call ersâ names, PhonePilotâÂÂs responses like sending busy tone, replying a SMS, diverting calls and recording call conversation. Y ou ca n choose menu item âÂÂPage upâ or press ke y 3 to scroll up one page, or choose menu item âÂÂPage downâ or press key 9 to scroll down one page. It facilitates you to look over the dialog quickly . Tip ! All vie ws will be locked when voice res ponse is still answerin g an incoming call. Y o u wonâÂÂt be able to select a menu item or edit data. But you can press left soft key (or âÂÂCallâ key) to intercept this call, or right soft key (or âÂÂHang upâ key) to hang up this call. Select pre-defined profile âÂÂDivert phonebo ok toâ for profile name, set schedule t ype to âÂÂper dayâÂÂ, and input the home time to âÂÂS tart timeâ and âÂÂEnd timeâÂÂ, then activate this profile also, îº Y ou are in a meeting now. Y ou w ant to inform your wife with a voice message of not eating dinner home today . Other callers send a SMS to inform them tha t you will call them af ter the meeting In profiles view , create a ne w profile first, select âÂÂL istâ for âÂÂCallers inâ and select the list co ntaining your wife only .
