When you are asked to sele ct the mod em y ou will s ee Nokia **** , please sel ect one of the fol lowing: Nokia 8810 Nokia 8810 Nokia 8850 Nokia 8850 Nokia 8210 Nokia 8210 Quick Guide to Usi ng your Nokia Phone with Outlook 98 SETTING UP YOUR OUTLOOK 98 T O READ INTERNET E-MAIL 1. Check that you hav e made a Dial-Up Networking connection for us e with your Nokia pho ne (My Compute r â Dial- up Networking) Figure 1. Checking your Inte rnet connection's prop erties. 2. Now that the Intern et connection's properties are correctly set, you are ready to go on-line. 3. You now need to add a new s ervice for use with your Dial-Up connec tion in Outlook 98. 4. Start th e Outlo ok 98 . 5. Go to Tools â Ser vices ⦠and click Add⦠to add a new service. Choose In ternet E -mai l from the list and click OK (Figure 2).

The th ree steps to setting up the E-mail account. 7. After you have filled in all the fields click Apply and OK. You should the n get a message that asks you to Exit and Log Off from Ou tlook. Just click OK and choose File - Exit a nd Log Off . 8. Restart Outlook 9 8. If it asks you whether to Conn ect / Work Of fline / H elp yo u can choose either connec t or Work Offline. 9. Now go to Tools â Remote mail â Con nect⦠Choose the information service you just created by clicking on the check box next to it and click Next > . 10. Now choose either Retrieve and send all new mail or Do only the followi ng â Retrieve new message headers⦠(Figure 4).

Choose Do on ly the following â Retrieve new⦠in order to get only th e message headers from which you can choose the messages you wish to read (this option is a lot faster because it only downloads the h eaders not the message itself). 11. Now click Finish and after that you will be prompted to go o n-line. 12. Check that you have your cellular phone connected to your PC in order to make the connec tion. 13.
