General information This Quick Installation Card giv es a rough o ver view and helps to quickly start with basic steps . Please read the supplied instruction manual for detailed information. Po w e r 1 Check whether the pow er voltage as shown on the type plate corresponds to your local power v oltage . If it does not consult your dealer or ser vice organization. 2 After all connections have been made connect the pow er cord to AC MAINS ~ and to the wall outlet. This switches on the AC po wer supply . T o disconnect the set from the po wer completely , remov e the power plug fr om the w all outlet. Discs for r ecording Use discs with the â Digital Audioâ logo only: â CD-Audio Recordable (CDR) discs, or â CD-Audio ReWriteable (CDRW) discs. Do not use computer CDR(W)s as recording would not w or k proper ly . Discs for pla yback Note: MP3 playback wor ks only if the filenames end with âÂÂ.mp3âÂÂ. Pla ying a CD in the CD changer Finalizing manually FINALIZE CD OPEN CLOSE YES ENTER 1 Inser t the CDR(W) to be finaliz ed into the CD recorder . 2 Press FINALIZE CD . 3 Press YES to star t the finalization. 1 Inser t an Audio CDR(W) into the CD recorder tray . 3 Select a track by rotating á EASY JOG ⢠. 4 Press RECORD . 5 Press YES to star t recording. 2 Inser t a CD into the CD changer and select the CD tray . 2 Inser t the CD to be copied into the CD changer and select the CD tray . 1 Press OPEN÷CLOSE and inser t a blank Audio CDR(W) into the CD recorder tray . 3 Press COPY CD . 4 Press YES to star t CD recording.
