Any one fa miliar with the op eratio n of a VCR can easily operate th e PRV- 9000, making the creation o f compatible DVD-V ideo discs as quick and easy as recor ding a vi deotape. Recording s are made using either wr ite-once DVD-R (G) or re-recordable DVD-R W d iscs that are compatible w ith most D VD-V ideo play ers and DVD- ROM dri ves.* In DVD-V i deo mode, maximu m prog ram capaci ty is either o ne hour or tw o hours per disc, an d up t o 99 separate v ideo s egments ( titles ) can be r ecorded. The PR V- 9000 Pro DVD-V ideo Recorder can automa tically g enerate a D VD titl e me nu that can be used to access any recorded title on a DVD-R compatibl e DVD- Vi deo play er simi lar to how movie title are used. Anal og and di gital A/ V inputs allow easy connectio n to both legacy and current video sour ces, and o utputs incl ude com ponent , Y/C and composi te video sig nals. The unit can also play DVD-Vi deo discs on read-on ly , DVD-R and DVD-R W media, as well as CD Audio and V ide oCD discs on read-only , CD-R and VD-RW media.
